We're on the edge of February, which always means a flurry of frantic activity here in Whitehorse! February is a month jam-packed with festivals: the Frostbite music festival, the Available Light Film Festival, the famous Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous festival, and the even more famous Yukon Quest! I vowed to keep activity to a minimum this February... but somehow all these crazy fun events kept popping up, and suddenly I find I'm doing four shows plus a Big Band dance this month. Whoops! The most exciting thing is that momentum is picking up for the official release of my debut album, Bedroom Voice. The Yukon Arts Centre is officially booked, and tickets went on sale yesterday. I'm planning to have an online release party for those of you who can't be in the Yukon, so stay tuned for that announcement!
